Lucky Charms Cookies are soft, chewy sugar cookies loaded with colorful marshmallows for a fun and festive treat. Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day parties, bake sales, or a magical after-school snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Lucky Charms cereal (plus extra marshmallows for topping)

Instructions

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter & sugar: Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Fold in Lucky Charms cereal.
  6. Scoop: Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Press a few extra marshmallows on top.
  7. Bake: Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Centers will look slightly soft.
  8. Cool: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, gently fold in the marshmallows at the end to prevent excessive melting. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
