Description
These Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are crispy, sweet, and lightly spiced. Made in the air fryer with minimal oil, they’re a healthier alternative to store-bought chips and make a perfect snack or topping for yogurt, oatmeal, or desserts.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp coconut oil or olive oil, melted
- 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar (or 1 tsp cinnamon + 1 tsp sugar)
- Optional: a pinch of salt
Instructions
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, toss banana slices with melted oil until lightly coated.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly over the banana slices.
- Place the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until edges are golden and crisp.
- Remove and let cool for a few minutes; chips will crisp further as they cool.
- Enjoy as a snack or topping immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, slice the bananas as thinly as possible. Store cooled chips in an airtight container for up to 2–3 days. You can also experiment with adding a dash of nutmeg or cocoa powder for flavor variations.
