- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

- Add sausage slices and cook until lightly browned, about 4–5 minutes.
- Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the mixture and stir to coat.
- Add pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir well to combine.
- Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens, about 12–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
You can add spinach or mushrooms for extra vegetables. Use gluten-free pasta if needed, and adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
