  • 12 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  1. Brown sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced kielbasa and cook until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add garlic to the same pan and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add pasta: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add pasta and paprika. Cover and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.
  5. Return sausage to the skillet and add peas if using.
  6. Make creamy: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor add sautéed onions or mushrooms. Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce. Add chili flakes for a mild spicy kick.
