- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta

- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth

- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)

- Brown sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced kielbasa and cook until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic to the same pan and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add pasta: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta and paprika. Cover and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.
- Return sausage to the skillet and add peas if using.
- Make creamy: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor add sautéed onions or mushrooms. Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce. Add chili flakes for a mild spicy kick.
