- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

- Stir in crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Simmer 5–7 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Cook 1–2 minutes until creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley and extra Parmesan.
Notes
You can add cooked chicken, shrimp, or sautéed vegetables to make this a complete meal. For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
