Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (optional, for crispier texture)
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to make a smooth batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, shaking off excess, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until the batter starts to crisp.
  5. Meanwhile, mix buffalo sauce with olive oil or melted butter if using.
  6. Remove cauliflower from oven and toss with buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until crispy and slightly browned.
  8. Garnish with parsley or green onions before serving. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, try air-frying the coated cauliflower at 400°F for 15–20 minutes. Adjust the buffalo sauce to your preferred spice level.
