Description
Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast is unbelievably tender, savory, and packed with bold flavor. Made with just a handful of pantry staples, this iconic slow cooker roast cooks low and slow until it’s fall-apart perfect.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3–4 lb chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 8–10 pepperoncini peppers
- 1/2 cup pepperoncini juice
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced
Instructions
Instructions
- Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the roast.
- Add pepperoncini peppers and pour in the juice.
- Top with sliced butter.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
- Shred the roast with forks and stir into the juices before serving.
Notes
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or on hoagie rolls. For less spice, reduce pepperoncini juice. No extra liquid needed—the roast makes its own gravy.
