- 1 packet ranch dressing mix (1 oz)
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix (0.7 oz)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 6–8 pepperoncini peppers
- Optional: sliced carrots, potatoes, or onions

- Place beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus mix over the roast.
- Place butter on top of the roast and add pepperoncini peppers around it.
- Optional: add sliced carrots, potatoes, or onions around the roast.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until beef is tender and shreds easily.
- Shred beef in the sauce and serve hot. Perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or rolls.
Notes
The pepperoncini juice adds a tangy flavor; don’t discard them. You can freeze leftovers with the juices for easy meals later.
