  • 1 package (16 oz) frozen pierogis (cheese or potato-filled)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

  1. Lightly grease the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Layer frozen pierogis evenly in the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the pierogis.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and optional bacon on top.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours until pierogis are heated through and tender.
  7. Optional: garnish with green onions or parsley before serving.

Notes

You can substitute different types of pierogis (potato, cheese, or potato & cheddar). For a richer flavor, add sautéed onions or mushrooms to the layers.
