- Shred chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until melted and well combined.
- Serve warm, garnished with green onions if desired.
Notes
Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes, or pile onto sandwich buns. For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and turkey bacon. Leftovers store well and reheat beautifully.
