  • 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: cinnamon or nutmeg for sprinkling

  2. In a bowl, combine peaches, raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Pour into prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter evenly over the fruit, spreading gently. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until topping is golden and fruit is bubbling.
  6. Cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Frozen fruit works well—no need to thaw. For a crunchier topping, sprinkle a little brown sugar on top before baking.
