- Unfold puff pastry sheet and cut into 4 equal squares.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each square and top with sliced strawberries.
- Fold corners of pastry toward the center, pressing lightly to seal.
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor. You can also drizzle with a simple glaze made of powdered sugar and milk for extra sweetness. Serve warm for the flakiest texture.
