- Sauté aromatics: Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add vegetables: Stir in cabbage and carrots. Cook 3–5 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add broth & seasonings: Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha if using. Bring to a boil.
- Simmer: Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For a low-sodium option, use reduced-sodium soy sauce. You can swap ground meat for tofu or add mushrooms for a vegetarian version.
