  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sliced cucumber, tomatoes, or olives for serving

  1. Marinate chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for at least 15–30 minutes (or up to overnight).
  2. Cook chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat or preheat grill. Cook chicken 5–7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Rest: Let chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. Serve: Serve with fresh vegetables, rice, or a salad. Spoon any remaining juices over the chicken.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dollop of Greek yogurt or tzatziki when serving. You can also bake the chicken at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes instead of pan-cooking.
