  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

  1. Cook beef: In a large pot over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add diced onion and cook 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  3. Add liquids: Pour in beef broth, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Stir well.
  4. Add macaroni, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and cover.
  6. Simmer 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  7. Add cheese: Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Add a splash of cream for a richer version. Substitute ground turkey for a lighter meal. Leftovers store well and reheat perfectly the next day.
