  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas or corn (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  1. Cook beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Remove excess grease if needed.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cook 2–3 minutes until soft.
  3. Stir in pasta shells, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Stir in milk, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese until creamy.
  6. Add frozen peas or corn if using. Heat through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use sharp cheddar for extra flavor. Substitute half-and-half for a lighter creamy sauce. Leftovers reheat well with a splash of milk.
