- Mix in peach puree and sparkling wine until combined.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients, until just combined.
- Divide batter evenly among cupcake liners, filling about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool cupcakes in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Top with whipped cream or frosting and a fresh peach slice if desired before serving.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Sparkling wine adds a subtle touch; you can omit for a non-alcoholic version.
