  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Toasted baguette slices or crackers, for serving

  1. In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine ricotta, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  2. Blend or whip until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Spoon the whipped ricotta into a serving bowl and smooth the top.
  4. In a small saucepan, gently heat honey with red pepper flakes over low heat for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Drizzle the warm hot honey over the ricotta dip.
  7. Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary if desired.
  8. Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle a little olive oil and sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before serving. This dip is best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
