- For a creamier texture, mash some of the beans with a spoon and stir back in.
- Serve hot over cooked rice and garnish with green onions if desired.
Notes
For extra heat, add cayenne pepper or hot sauce. If using canned beans, reduce liquid and cooking time. Always ensure beans are fully cooked before serving.
