  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • Sliced green onions or sesame seeds (for garnish)

  5. Optional: For a thicker sauce, stir in cornstarch slurry during the last 20 minutes and cook until thickened.
