- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger powder or 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds

- Place meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours until meatballs are cooked through and tender.
- Optional: garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Serve with rice, noodles, or on slider buns.
Notes
Using frozen meatballs works great for this recipe. For a thicker sauce, remove the lid in the last 30 minutes or add a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water).
