  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger powder or 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds

  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  3. Pour sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.

Notes

Using frozen meatballs works great for this recipe. For a thicker sauce, remove the lid in the last 30 minutes or add a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water).
