- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 tbsp brown sugar for sweetness

- In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
- Add chopped cabbage to the slow cooker.
- Top with cooked beef mixture and uncooked rice.
- Pour in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Season with paprika, salt, pepper, and brown sugar if using.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until cabbage is tender and rice is cooked.
- Stir before serving and enjoy hot.
Notes
Ground turkey can be substituted for beef. If using instant rice, stir it in during the last 30 minutes of cooking. This dish tastes even better the next day and reheats beautifully.
