- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
- Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.
- Place cookies on baking sheets and bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
- Decorate with royal icing and edible flowers once cooled.
Notes
For best results, chill dough 30 minutes before rolling. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
