This Crock Pot Million Dollar Pasta is a rich, cheesy, and incredibly comforting slow cooker meal. Layers of hearty meat sauce, tender pasta, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and melted mozzarella create a crowd-pleasing dinner that tastes like a million bucks with minimal effort.

- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 12 oz uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or ziti)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish

- Prepare the meat sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic, marinara sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Make the cheese mixture: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
- Layer the slow cooker: Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add half of the uncooked pasta, half of the cheese mixture, and one-third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers, finishing with remaining meat sauce and the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, or until the pasta is tender.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Different slow cookers vary in cooking time, so begin checking the pasta after 3 hours. For extra flavor, use Italian sausage instead of ground beef. Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 4 days.
