  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 package (9–12 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley or basil for garnish

  1. Place shredded chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Add cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or on high for 1.5–2 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the tortellini and top with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Cover and cook until tortellini is tender and cheese is melted.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh or refrigerated tortellini for best results. Avoid frozen tortellini unless cooking time is adjusted.
