- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)

- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add diced tomatoes, broth, and Italian herbs. Bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta directly to the pot and stir to combine. Cover and cook according to pasta package instructions, stirring occasionally.
- Once pasta is cooked, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese if using. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half or milk instead of cream. Add cooked chicken, shrimp, or vegetables for a heartier meal. Make sure to stir frequently to prevent sticking.
