- Prepare strawberries: Toss strawberries with sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Let sit 10 minutes.
- Make cream: Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Assemble: Spread cream over cooled base, then top with strawberries.
- Chill: Refrigerate at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.

For best texture, chill before serving so the layers set. You can swap strawberries with raspberries or mixed berries.
