Description
This Rose Garden Cocktail is a delicate, floral-inspired drink infused with rose, citrus, and light botanical notes. Elegant, refreshing, and beautifully aromatic, it’s perfect for garden parties, weddings, or a sophisticated evening sip.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin (or vodka for a lighter taste)
- 1 oz rose syrup
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz elderflower liqueur (optional)
- 2–3 oz sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Edible rose petals, for garnish
- Lemon twist, for garnish
For Rose Syrup (optional homemade)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp dried culinary rose petals
Instructions
Instructions
- Make rose syrup (if homemade): Combine water, sugar, and rose petals in a saucepan. Simmer until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat, steep 10–15 minutes, strain, and cool completely.
- Mix cocktail: In a shaker, combine gin, rose syrup, lemon juice, and elderflower liqueur (if using).
- Shake: Add ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled.
- Serve: Strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Top: Add sparkling water or club soda for a light fizz.
- Garnish: Finish with edible rose petals and a lemon twist.
Notes
Adjust rose syrup carefully—too much can overpower the drink. For a non-alcoholic version, replace gin with extra sparkling water or lemonade.
