Scale

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup crushed pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk (for pudding)
  • Optional garnish: extra strawberries or whipped cream

Instructions

Instructions

  1. Prepare pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk according to package instructions. Let set in the refrigerator.
  2. Make cream cheese mixture: Beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Combine salad: Gently fold prepared pudding into cream cheese mixture. Add sliced strawberries and nuts if using, folding to combine.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld and mixture to firm up.
  5. Serve: Spoon into a serving dish, garnish with extra strawberries or whipped cream as desired.

Notes

Use fresh, firm strawberries to prevent the salad from becoming too watery. This salad is best served within 1–2 days. You can substitute cream cheese with mascarpone for a richer flavor.
